I viewed an article on Slashdot on 'A New Wireless Power Transmission Sheet.' This sheet is a power pad that will charge devices, such as cell phones, by just placing it right on the pad. I thought this was pretty cool and I'd like to get one, yet the product requires a special receiver and it is therefore very expensive. We will just have to wait until some compeition stirs up to drive down prices- until then, batteries are going to have to do!
